PT A lenda da Caipora faz parte do folclore brasileiro, seu nome vem de caapora, do Tupi, que significa "habitante do mato". Ela é uma entidade protetora dos animais, que são frequentemente mortos por caçadores. As características físicas da Caipora possuem muitas variações, de acordo com cada fonte, por este motivo, a ilustração foi feita selecionando algumas destas descrições, somadas à interpretação do artista.
A ilustração retrata a caipora em meio à floresta Amazônica, em um local de mata fechada, montada em um Catitu e carregando sua vara. O Catitu foi representado de uma forma mais realista, para trazer um toque de seriedade e mistério ao trabalho, pois a caipora pode ser uma criatura assustadora para quem não é bem vindo em seu território.

She is a protective entity for animals, which are often killed by hunters. The physical characteristics of Caipora have many variations, according to each source, for this reason, the illustration was made by selecting some of these descriptions, added to the artist's interpretation.
The illustration depicts the caipora in the middle of the Amazon rainforest, in a dense forest location, mounted on a Catitu and carrying its stick. The Catitu was represented in a more realistic way, to bring a touch of seriousness and mystery to the work, as the caipora can be a frightening creature for those who are not welcome in its territory.
